HAZWOPER (8, 24, 40 Hours)

The Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard (HAZWOPER) program protects workers at hazardous sites. ESC Consultants deliver on-site training for 8-hour, 24-hour and 40-hour certifications.

8-Hour Meets the requirements for eight hours of annual refresher training for workers and hazardous waste sites. Designed for general site workers who remove hazardous waste or who are exposed or potentially exposed to hazardous substances.

24-Hour This course covers broad issues pertaining to recognizing hazards at work sites. This training is required for employees visiting an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation mandated by the Government. Meets the OSHA requirements under 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(ii) or (iii)

40-Hour This course is for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. This training is required for employees working on a project consisting of Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation mandated by the Government.
